The South Korean government is set to announce the dates for students to return to school,... in line with its eased social distancing guidelines.
The education ministry says the announcement will be made on Monday by minister Yoo Eun-hae at a briefing scheduled for 4 p.m., Korea time.
It's highly likely schools will resume sometime between May 18th and 20th,... as this will give health authorities enough time to gauge the impact of the so-called golden holiday week on the spread of the virus.
The government is considering a gradual reopening, starting with high school seniors.
The schedule on reopening kindergartens will also be outlined during the briefing.
