The Swiss government announced the reopening of schools, restaurants, shops, museums, and libraries on May 11, while large scale events of 1,000 or more remain banned until the end of August. The Federal Council also unveiled an aid package worth CHF 1.275 billion for Swiss and Edelweiss airlines.
