South Korea's Education Minister Yoo Eun-hae will hold a videoconference with local education superintendents in the coming hours to discuss ways to normalize school education that has been severely disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak.
The minister will hear from the officials on how best to prevent the virus from affecting kids when schools reopen for students.
The ministry is expected to make a final decision on the date of school reopening early next month,... as the government considers whether to further ease social distancing next week.
If the ministry reopens schools,... students are likely to return back to school gradually as early as mid-May.
