Shoppers hoping to buy fresh produce at Pasar Raja Bot in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur on Thursday were caught off guard as the market was closed for sanitation work
A DBKL notice stated that the market would be closed on Monday and Thursday for disinfection and traders were required to clear their stalls
Shoppers who headed to the wet market in TTDI were also left disappointed.
The sanitation work at public markets is an ongoing initiative to curb the spread of Covid-19.
