Shandong University professor shows gratitude to Seoul city by sending 1,000 face masks

To show gratitude to the city of Seoul, a professor at China's Shandong University has sent one-thousand protective face masks to donate to the citizens of Seoul.
Fifty-four-year-old Kong Haiyan lost consciousness due to a heart attack in 2018, while on a business trip to Seoul.
With the translation help from the Seoul metropolitan government, she was able to receive medical treatment and get back to her home country.
The Chinese professor said although it's hard to secure lots of masks in China, she wanted to help South Korea as Seoul is her "lucky city."
