'Rapid antibody testing' to speed up Covid-19 screening-1

As India surpasses 4200 Covid-19 cases, the government realises the need for speedy and extensive detection of coronavirus cases, those residing in Covid-19 hotspots or areas which have reported large numbers of cases may have to undergo a rapid antibody testing. The ICMR in its interim advisory has recommended the use of the rapid antibody test in the country's coronavirus hotspots. These test kits might cost 2000-3000 rupees per unit.
