Coronavirus: patients in Spain get five-star hotel quarantine

A number of hotels in Barcelona are offering their rooms to house COVID-19 patients and healthcare professionals, with some 2,500 rooms being made available. The 307 room Melia hotel in the city centre has been housing patients who need medical supervision, but not intensive care, since the end of March. A few steps away from the hotel is a public health centre which is receiving both COVID-19 patients and people with other health issues.
