Coronavirus: companies can donate to PM care fund, will be considered CSR expenditure. The government has said that contributions to the Prime Minister's Emergency Relief Fund through companies will be considered as corporate social responsibility i.e. CSR expenditure under the Companies Act. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted this information on Sunday.

सरकार ने कहा है कि कंपनियों के जरिये प्रधानमंत्री आपात राहत कोष में योगदान को कंपनी कानून के तहत कॉरपोरेट सामाजिक दायित्व यानी CSR खर्च माना जाएगा. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने रविवार को ट्वीट कर ये जानकारी दी.
