Footage shows a group of ants attacking a caterpillar in the Ecuadorian Amazon on February 10th.

Insect enthusiast Ferhat Gundogu filmed the video during one of his visits to an eco-park in Puyo, Ecuador.

He said: "I'm lucky to have seen this because I am really fascinated with insects. The poor caterpillar did not survive but that's nature."
