'No wonder Ryanair is so cheap' UK man documents filthy cabin toilet

Ryanair passenger Ed Evan was travelling from Stansted, UK to Alicante, Spain when he was horrified to discover there was no water or soap in the toilet cabin of his nearly three-hour flight.

Footage shows a pile of empty plastic water bottles gathered around the sink and a hand-written paper note on the floor that reads: "Please use water bottle to clean hands. Sorry for inconvenience."

The video was posted to Twitter on Monday (February 10) with the caption: "No wonder @Ryanair is so cheap. How shocking is this."

Ed told Newsflare: "I went to use the toilet and saw this. The toilet was out of water and you had to use water bottles to clean your hands. There was also no soap. So I had to use hand sanitizer from a random woman in my isle.

"I messaged Ryanair about the state of the toilet twice on twitter and they never got back to me so I thought I’d upload the video.

"It makes me worried to go on Ryanair again. How can it be a clean environment with a toilet like this."

Ed is still waiting for a response from Ryanair, the Irish budget airline.

This clip was filmed on September 14, 2019.
