Indonesian officials issue reward for removal of tyre that has been stuck around crocodile's head for years

Indonesian officials have issued a reward for the removal of a tyre that has been stuck around a crocodile's head since 2016.
The crocodile was found swimming in the Palu River in Palu City on February 11 still with the tyre lodged around its head.
A team led by the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) Officer along with Australian Reptile Observer Matt Wright will attempt to remove the tyre.
They have prepared a large cage and hope to lure the crocodile into it where they can they restrain the animal and remove the tyre.
