मुस्लिम महिलाओं के बुर्के पर उत्तर प्रदेश के श्रम एवं सेवायोजन राज्यमंत्री ठा. रघुराज सिंह ने विवादित बयान दिया है. उन्होंने भारत में बुर्के को बैन करने की सरकार से मांग की है और कहा कि लक्ष्मण जी ने जब शूर्पणखा के कान और नाक काटे तो उन्होंने बुर्का पहना, जिससे उनका चेहरा ढका रहे. इसलिए मुस्लिम महिलाएं बुर्का पहनती हैं, क्योंकि वह दैत्यों के वंशज हैं। दैत्यों के वंशज ही बुर्का पहन सकते हैं, आम आदमी बुर्का नहीं पहनेगा. देखें वीडियो
