Gorakhpur Lok Sabha MP Yogi Adityanath was on Saturday named as the next Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister in a meeting of the newly-elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators in Lucknow.

Yogi Adityanath will take oath as next UP CM in Lucknow on Sunday (19 March). Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma have been named as deputy Chief Ministers of the state.
