Some 20 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan as of February 6, 2020, as another 3,700 people on the boat hunkered down for at least two weeks of quarantine. In late January, an 80-year-old man from Hong Kong was also diagnosed with the virus after disembarking from a cruise on the vessel.
