Hong Kong records first coronavirus death as fatalities in mainland China hit 425

Hong Kong confirmed its first death from the novel coronavirus on February 4, 2020, after a 39-year-old man died after travelling to Wuhan, the capital of the central Chinese province of Hubei. Health officials say the victim developed a fever after returning to Hong Kong, and was the city’s 13th confirmed case of the deadly epidemic.
