Brave toddler works as a volunteer rescuer with his parents

This brave toddler loves racing to the scene of accidents and dreams of being a paramedic when he grows up.

Wutthipat Jangbua, three, has his own custom-made blue uniform for the volunteer foundation in Trang, southern Thailand.

The youngster helps his father Wichaiwit Jangbua, 32, and mother Sathidarat Thongtea, 29, who are both volunteer rescue workers.

Footage from Monday (January 20th) afternoon shows the toddler dressed up in the rescue volunteer outfit. He even seems to know his way around the ambulance and is familiar with the equipment his parents use.

Sathidarat said they often take the boy to work with them, which has led to him being interested in the role.

She said: "We first brought him to work when there was a big flood. He would hand us the tools. Back then, he was just one year old.

"After that, we started to bring him to the accident scenes, but not the unpleasant ones or when it was dangerous, like catching snakes.

"We bring him so often that he will always cry when we don't take him. He told us he loved helping people and wanted to be like us when he grew up.

"Now he is only three years old and has just started to read and write but if he really wants to be a rescuer, he will have our full support."
