Education Malaysia chairman pleads not guilty to CBT involving RM178k

Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) chairman Datuk Abdul Rahman Mohamed Shariff pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Monday (Jan 13) to three counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM178,049.

Portions of the money, which belonged to Yayasan Pengurusan Ilmu, were used for the purchase of an industrial oven and exhaust hood for his wife’s coffee shop and two cigar boxes.
