Estimate Puts Disney's Streaming Industry Over $100 Billion.
The figure comes from investment bank
and financial services company Barclays.
Streaming services include Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+, which launched less than two months ago.
The $100 billion number also
shows that investors' confidence
in Disney streaming is very high.
Just 6 weeks into launch, Disney is already pricing in a streaming business worth $108bn, 69% of Netflix’s enterprise value which has taken 13 years to get here, Barclays, via CNBC.
In its November 12 debut, Disney+ grabbed over 10 million subscribers.
By the first quarter's conclusion, that user number is being predicted to grow to 25 million.
Come 2024's end, Disney has set a goal of up to 90 million subscribers
