Harrowing scene as lion cub rescued from 40-foot-deep well by Indian forest workers

The harrowing moment is captured as a lion cub trapped in a 40-feet-deep open well in Una Gujarat, India is rescued by forest workers on Thursday (January 2).

After two hours of struggling, the forest officials managed to loop a rope around the big cat — who was scared and struggling. The lion was then hauled to safety into a protective cage with the help of bamboo, according to eyewitnesses.
