Two workers trapped in construction site mishap in Taman Desa rescued

The two workers who were trapped after a partial collapse at a construction site in Taman Desa on Friday (Feb 14) have been rescued.

The second victim was successfully rescued at 9.40pm, after rescuers spent hours trying to safely remove him from the uneven site.

The first victim, a 37-year-old Bangladeshi, is currently seeking treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

Earlier in the afternoon, the sixth floor of an apartment that was being built at the site collapsed, trapping the two workers.
