How to Reset VLC Media Player to Default Settings on Windows 10?

Step 1: Open 'VLC Media Player' App.

Step 2: Click on 'Tools,' and then click on 'Preferences.'

Step 3: Click on 'Reset Preferences' button at the bottom.

Step 4: Read the message at the pop-up, and if you agree. Click on 'ok' button.

Step 5: Close 'VLC Media Player,' and then again open it.

Step 6: Read the 'Privacy and network access policy' if you want. After that, select the option that you want under 'Network access Policy,' and then click on 'Continue' button.
