How to Make VLC as Default Media Player on Windows 10?

Install VLC first, if you don't have it installed:-

Step 1: Open 'Settings' App.

Step 2: Click on 'Apps,' and then click on 'Default Apps.'

Step 3: Scroll down to 'Video Player,' and then click on the button below it.

Step 4: Select 'VLC' by clicking on it from new window.


Note: If you want to change 'Music player' also to 'VLC,' follow the instructions below:-

Step 1: Follow till step 2 from above.

Step 2: Scroll down to 'Music Player,' and then click on the button below it.

Step 3: Select 'VLC' by clicking on it from new window.
