The former finance minister P Chidambaram has made it to our list of newsmakers of 2019 as he spent over 100 days behind the bars. In a seemingly orchestrated approach between the CBI and the ED, every legal trick in the book was used to keep the former FM locked away. But if anything, the stint at Tihar seems to have strengthened his resolve further, with Chidambaram looking to nail the government on everything from CAA to onion prices, reports Ashmit Kumar.
