A video showed firefighters giving water to a koala caught up in bush fires in Cudlee Creek, Adelaide, as huge blazes continue to torch states across Australia. As of December 23, 2019, the fires had killed at least six people, and ravaged more than 3.7 million hectares (9.1 million acres) of land across five states.
