Hundreds of skaters dressed in red Santa outfits blocked roads in central London on Saturday.
The so-called SantaSkate on 14 December was the latest of an annual event that is said to have begun in December 2004.
Among other areas, they skated down Regent Street and Oxford Street -- two of the busiest streets in London -- on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.
