Baby leopard that got lost near human village rescued and released back into Indian jungle

A baby leopard that wandered out of the forest into a populated area became trapped and had to be rescued in northwest India.

According to reports, the incident took place on December 9 in Desuri region in Pali district, Rajasthan.

According to reports, the leopard was trapped in a farm fence when the incident came to light.

Footage of the rescue shows an officer grab the cub and put it inside a metal cage as locals gathered to witness the operation.

After being informed by a farmer about the leopard's presence, the rescue team rushed to the spot and saved the cub.

Volunteers stated the cub was successfully rescued after being tranquillised and was released into a nearby forest on December 10.
