The world's largest steam locomotive named 'Big Boy' gathers crowds in Oklahoma

The world's largest steam train garnered large crowds when it made a pitstop in Fort Gibson on November 16.

The locomotive dubbed 'Big Boy' is also known as Union Pacific 4014 was in the town to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad.

Footage shows Big Boy departing from Fort Gibson to embark on a tour of America's southwest until November 26.

The steam engine was last operating in 1959 and weighs 1,250,000 pounds.
