Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and NCP's Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM on November 23. While speaking on the political twist, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil said,
"Voters had voted for BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and we got 161 MLAs, but Shiv Sena betrayed the mandate. Since the first press conference, they had started talking about alternatives," said Chandrakant Patil.
