Maharashtra chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that no rotational formula was agreed with Shiv Sena. He also said that There is no doubt in my mind that I will be Chief Minister for five years. Fadnavis said there was no formula to split the Chief Minister's post between the two parties for terms of two-and-a-half years each.

महाराष्ट्र में सीएम की कुर्सी के लिए बीजेपी और शिवसेना में आर-पार की लड़ाई शुरू हो चुकी है। शिवसेना 50-50 के फॉर्मूले पर अड़ी हुई है लेकिन बीजेपी ने एक बार फिर साफ कर दिया है कि मुख्यमंत्री का पद शेयर नहीं किया जाएगा। महाराष्ट्र के सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा है बीजेपी ने कभी भी शिवसेना से 50-50 फॉर्मूले का वादा नहीं किया था। फडणवीस ने ये भी कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में सरकार बीजेपी के नेतृत्व में ही बनेगी और राज्य में अगले पांच साल मुख्यमंत्री भी मैं ही रहूंगा, इसमें कोई भ्रम नहीं होना चाहिए।
