The cyber security agency of India has warned WhatsApp users about its use. It has been said by the agency that without the user's permission, important information can be hacked through their WhatsApp app. The Computer Emergency Response Team-India (CERT-Ein) has also issued an advisory and warned people about the security of WhatsApp.

भारत की साइबर सिक्योरिटी एजेंसी ने व्हाट्सएप इस्तेमाल करने वालों को इसके इस्तेमाल को लेकर आगाह किया है। एजेंसी की तरफ से कहा गया है कि बिना यूजर की अनुमति लिए उनके व्हाट्सएप एप के जरिए अहम जानकारी हैक हो सकती है। द कंप्यूटर इमरजेंसी रिसपॉन्स टीम-इंडिया (सीईआरटी-ईन) ने एक एडवायजरी भी जारी की है और लोगों को व्हाट्सएप की सिक्योरिटी को लेकर आगाह किया है।
