Smoke from Australia's bushfires blanketed part of north-eastern New South Wales making the ground hardly visible from the air on November 12.

Footage shows the view from a flight looking down on blankets of smoke covering the ground.

The filmer explained: "The view from a flight over northern New South Wales, almost impossible to make out the ground due to the thick layer of smoke from the numerous bushfires."
