The Supreme Court on Thursday has pronounced its decision in the Rafale deal and contempt case of Rahul Gandhi The Supreme Court has rejected petitions seeking review of clean chit to NDA government in purchase of 36 fully loaded Rafale fighter jets from France through an inter-government deal. At the same time, the Supreme Court today closed the defamation case filed against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for wrongly attributing his "chowkidar chor hai" remark in Rafale case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the top court.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गुरुवार को राफेल और राहुल गांधी की अवमानना मामले में अपना फैसला सुना दिया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने राफेल सौदे में पुनर्विचार याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है. वहीं अवमानना मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने राहुल गांधी की माफी मंजूर कर ली है.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी को अवमानना के मामले में राहत देते हुए कहा कि राहुल गांधी का बयान दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है. राहुल गांधी को बयान देते समय सतर्क रहना चाहिए.
