산타, 크리스마스 시즌 시작... 루돌프 순록도 '준비 완료'

As Christmas nears, Santa Claus has officially opened the Christmas season in his hometown in the Arctic Circle.
Around this time of the year, hundreds and thousands of people from around the world head to Santa Claus village in northern Finland to visit Santa and his busy elves.
And this year, Santa spoke about the meaning of good will and the importance of sharing and caring.
"My wish is that this Christmas season be filled with friendly thoughts, words and gestures. Let us embrace Christmas with tolerance and goodwill."
In addition to meeting Santa, Mrs. Santa Claus, elves and reindeer, visitors can send their Christmas cards with a special Arctic stamp from the village's post office.
Santa receives almost 30-thousand letters every day from children all over the world.
Visitors still have plenty of time to meet him in person before he and his reindeer are off to go on their around-the-world trip on December 23rd.
