Athletes' village for Gwangju world aquatics championships opens

And the athletes' village for the 2019 Gwangju FINA World Aquatics Championships has opened its doors ahead of the start of the championships next Friday.
The first 100 athletes, including 68 South Koreans, are expected to enter the village today.
The athletes' village will accommodate about four-thousand athletes and officials, and approximately two-thousand members of the media covering the event.
It's equipped to provide all the support athletes need, including a halal food corner and recovery room.
Starting today,.... the authorities will keep the competition's venues and the village off limits to the public for security reasons.
