Special camps have been set up in South Korea to help smartphone ‘addicts’ break free from their dependence on digital devices and the internet. The South Korean government’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family held 16 camps across the country in 2019, offering a programme of activities and counselling to about 400 middle and high school pupils.
