Before the decision on the Ayodhya land dispute, the Shia Waqf Board has banned all the events on the Waqf properties. Wasim Rizvi, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board, issued an order prohibiting the holding of any speech or protest-demonstration on Ayodhya issue.
