Sunni Waqf Board accepts 5-acre land near Ayodhya to build mosque

Sunni Central Board of Waqf on February 24 accepted the five-acre land near Ayodhya to build mosque. The Chairman of Sunni Waqf Board, Zufar Ahmad Farooqui said, “It has been decided in meeting to accept the 5-acre land given by government. A trust will be formed. The trust, along with mosque, will construct other things such as a centre that represents Indo-Islamic culture, a research centre, charitable hospital, public library and other things for public utilities.” The details of the trust will be announced after the formation of the trust. Sunni Waqf Board was allotted a 5-acre land in Dhannipur village after Supreme Court’s verdict on Ayodhya dispute.
