The central government has introduced wage code draft rules in which it is proposed to increase the working time in offices from 8 hours to 9 hours. However, the government has remained silent on the National Minimum Wage and is not mentioned in the draft. In this draft, the government has kept most of the old suggestions and has talked about dividing the salary into three parts in future on geographical basis.
