South Korean and U.S. diplomats have agreed to continue cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region... on energy, infrastructure, human capital and the digital economy.

They released a joint "Fact Sheet" outlining the areas of cooperation,... based on Seoul's New Southern Policy and Washington's Indo-Pacific Strategy.
The U.S. State Department stressed this was a part of the two countries' "forward-looking alliance".
During their meeting, the two diplomats also pledged to maintain close coordination to ensure the full and verified denuclearization of North Korea... and reaffirmed the importance of trilateral ties between Seoul, Washington and Tokyo.
