South Korean companies' business outlook rose for the second consecutive month in October.
According to the Bank of Korea,... the business survey index for all industries came to 73 for October, up one point on-month.
The reading remains below 100, means there are many more pessimists than optimists about the local economy.
The business sentiment index for manufacturing edged up one point to 72 thanks to South Korea's improving chemicals material and products sector.
The index for non-manufacturing also went up on a rise in the sports, arts and leisure sectors.
The business survey outlook for next month fell.
