South Korea's consumer sentiment rose for a fifth consecutive month in April.
The Bank of Korea said Friday that the composite consumer sentiment index was at 101-point-six...up 1-point-8 points from the previous month.
It's the first time since September 2018 that the reading has risne above 100, indicating there are more optimists than pessimists about the economy.
The central bank says the rise was due to an increase in people's positive responses related to their current and prospective living standards thanks to improving job data and better stock market performance.
