Driver survives insane log impaling of his SUV

DALTON, GEORGIA — A Georgia driver is miraculously alive after he accidentally introduced the front of his SUV right into the back of a log truck.
Whitfield County Fire shared the amazing images from the October 12 scene on its Facebook page.
According to CNN, the man was apparently driving down the Cleveland Hwy when he dropped something.
He then leaned over to pick it up, totally not seeing the log truck that was stopped in the road in front of him.
Logs went through the windshield like a knife through butter, but amazingly just missed the driver's head.
According to Whitfield County Fire Chief Edward O'Brien, because the driver was not in the upright position in his seat, his head ended up in a tiny gap between the logs.
Firefighters had to chainsaw their way through 30 to 40 logs before they could even begin to cut open the car and rescue the man.
O'Brien said that it only took about 10 to 15 minutes to get the guy out after that. Unbelievably, the man only sustained minor injuries.
According to CNN, it's unclear what or if any charges the driver is looking at.
