Narrow escape for driver as fence pole impales windscreen

Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a car crashing into a fence in the middle of a road, causing a metal rod to pierce the windscreen.

The CCTV video, filmed in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province last Wednesday, shows the woman hitting the fence at speed, causing some of the metal to impale the windscreen.

Fortunately, the metal pole went straight through the passenger seat and missed the driver, Mrs Shen, who only had minor bruising to her left arm.
