South Korea's Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon has arrived in Tokyo for a 3-day visit.
He begins his official schedule by attending today's enthronement ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito.
Lee will meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday, the first meeting between the two since South Korea's Supreme Court rulings on wartime forced labor last October.
Lee will deliver President Moon Jae-in's message verbally or through a letter and express Seoul's willingness to improve their bilateral ties.
Their meeting will only last around ten minutes, so in order to get into deeper discussions, Lee might try to arrange a summit between Moon and Abe in the near future.
