The state-wide bandh called by the Samme employees of TSRTC pressing various demands, including merger of the corporation with the Telangana government, began on Saturday with the opposition parties actively supporting it.The bandh is being observed a day after the Telangana High Court had directed the state transport corporation and employees' unions to hold talks and settle before October 28.

తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికులకు సంఘీభావంగా అఖిల పక్షం చేపట్టిన బంద్ కొనసాగుది.ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు తాత్కాలిక ఏర్పాట్లతో తిరుగుతోన్న బస్సులు కూడా ఈరోజు నిలిచిపోయాయి. దీంతో ఆర్టీసీపై సమ్మె , బంద్ ప్రభావం స్పష్టంగా కనిపించింది. ఎక్కడో ఒకటి రెండూ బస్సులు మాత్రం రోడ్లపై కనిపించాయి.అటు ఆర్టీసీ తరపున నడుపుతోన్న ప్రైవేటు, అద్దె బస్సులు కూడా ఈరోజు పెద్దగా తిరగలేదు. దీంతో హైదరాబాద్‌లోని ఎంజీబీఎస్, జేబీఎస్, సీబీఎస్ పలు డిపోలు ఖాళీగా కనిపించాయి. అన్ని బస్ డిపోలు, బస్ స్టాండ్ల దగ్గర పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పోలీసులను మోహరించారు.
