ASEAN-Korea train celebrates thirty years of friendship between S. Korea, ASEAN nations

A special train began its journey from Seoul Station this morning,... opening a new era of bilateral partnership between South Korea and ASEAN.
The ASEAN-Korea Train, carrying some 200 high-ranking officials, journalists, and students from Korea and ASEAN nations,... aims to bring the the people of Korea and ASEAN together as they celebrate 30 years of friendly ties.
"The launch of ASEAN-Korea train today will be in the journey of our next thirty years together. Like a train in motion, our partnership will be full of energy and fortuity."
The event takes place just 40 days ahead of the special South Korea-ASEAN Special Summit,... the largest international gathering under the current Moon administration.
The train will travel to the southern port city of Busan, the host city of the summit.
It will also make stops in Gyeongju, Suncheon and Gwangju, before returning to Seoul Friday.
