Regarding the Korea-ASEAN Special Summit slated to be held in late November... Kang said it will be an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between Seoul and Southeast Asian nations.
She also emphasized that the summit will boost the South Korean economy.

"The three pillars of the theme going into the summit are people, peace and prosperity. The prosperity element will bring together business interests from South Korea and ASEAN countries, in particular small and med-sized businesses as well as start-ups."
