Chegodilu is a very popular traditional Indian savory snack especially prepared during festivals or served as a tea-time snack. This savory snack is often prepared in the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
It is a popular savory snack that is unique to Andhra Pradesh. Made with rice flour and shaped in the form of small rings, it is popular with kids and adults alike. When done right, each Chegodi is light as a feather and crisp.

Ingredients:
Rice Flour - 250 gm
Water 4 cups
Sesame Seeds - 4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Chopped Onion -1
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic Pods - 8-10
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Making the Dough
1. In a heavy-bottomed vessel, boil water with salt and 1 tbsp oil.
2. Let's make a paste of onion, garlic and sesame seeds and keep it in a bowl.
3. Into the rice flour, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, sesame seeds, salt and mix it.
4. Then add 1/2 cup hot water and 4 tbsp oil and mix it.
5. Add onion, garlic and cumin seeds paste and mix it with a spoon.
6. Once the ingredients are nicely mixed, add water and make a dough.
Transfer the rice flour dough to a plate.
7. Use your palms to roll it into a rope shape. Use a spoon for measurement and cut it into lengthwise.
8. Bring the ends together and press together to form a circle.
9. Don't make it thin because it will break.
10. Making of chegodi has done, let's deep fry it in the oil.
11. Once made fry the rings immediately or if they dryup they may break.
12. Chekodi has changed the color, remove it in serving plate.
13. You can store it for up to 15days.
Chegodi's are ready.
