Guan Eng: When did I say police shouldn't investigate?

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng claims that the press have distorted what he said after Bukit Aman dismissed giving the DAP leader assurance that there will be no further arrests of leaders of the DAP in their crackdown on Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) supporters.
In a press conference yesterday, Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division (E8) chief Deputy Comm Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the police would not stop their probe into the LTTE terrorist group because of the DAP.
Lim said though he was unhappy with the arrests of DAP assemblypersons, he did not ask the police to stop investigating the case.
