Chilly start to day, dress accordingly

Good morning, yesterday many regions saw their coldest temperatures of the season so far with this autumn's first cold wave advisory. The season's first ice was seen on Seoraksan mountain in Gangwon-do Province with frost in Daegwallyeong...with lows nearing the freezing mark. Today's morning temperatures are few notches higher than yesterday, but dress warmly on your way out.
Taking a closer look, Chuncheon and Daejeon are waking up to a low of 9 degrees Celsius. We have lots of clouds to start the day for upper parts of the country. Gyeongju is beginning the day at 8 degrees.
But by the afternoon, highs will hike to 26 degrees. Seoul and Chuncheon will remain in the teens.
Typhoon Hagibis continues on its course to Tokyo, and it's forecast to make landfall there in the early hours of Sunday. Due to the indirect effects of the typhoon, Jeju, eastern coastal regions and the Jeollanam-do Province coast could see strong gusts starting Friday afternoon.
